What You'll Be Working On
As Patent Expert at The IP Link, you will be learning the details of our clients' technologies and performing patent searches and assessments on these technologies. In addition to patent searching, you will assist with writing detailed and high quality invention descriptions based on clients' technologies and inventions. You'll start by learning more about The IP Link and our vision and strategy, then will work through our Patent Protection Playbook course with an actual client technology to fully learn our unique process and approach.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to be a lawyer to do patent searching or writing invention descriptions, in fact, a strong technical background is far more important. Let us know what technical areas you have expertise in. You also don't need to have done patent searches in the past (although this would be an asset), but you should be excellent at learning new areas of science and engineering, have a hunger to be thorough (leave no rock unturned), and a keen attention to detail. The Position and the Hiring Process
